A purpose-built structure, the Amphitheatre is integrated into Sullivan’s Creek. It’s a spectacular place to eat lunch, watch concerts and soak up the village atmosphere. The stage sits on the reconfigured pond, with dedicated access paths allowing access for productions in the space.
The Amphitheatre caters for a wide variety of events including ad-hoc performances and as a support role for festivals and events. The stage also features an Indigenous fire pit to allow for traditional smoking ceremonies at appropriate times. Tree cover has been retained on the western side of Sullivan’s Creek to provide shade during summer months, and seating features grass as a cooling element.
