Energetic, emotive, and passionate, Sputnik Sweetheart is bringing their own blend of Alternative-Rock to the Australian music scene.
The band has built a reputation for delivering hard-hitting performances to sold-out rooms across the country.
Last year saw the release of their debut EP ‘Growing Pains’ headlined by the anthemic breakout single ‘Us Girls’, a song that throws gender inequality into the spotlight in a passionate and frustrated voice.
Since the release of their debut EP, Sputnik Sweetheart has nabbed slots at nationally acclaimed music festivals; Spilt Milk and Stonefest, and supported the likes of Ball Park Music, Joyce Manor, British India, Kingswood, Hands Like Houses and Spacey Jane.
After spending time at the highly esteemed Grove Studios, Sputnik Sweetheart is back to present their latest release, ‘Rolling’, a surf rock tune with a gritty twist. Inspired by Tim Winton’s iconic coming of age novel, Breath, ‘Rolling’ is a song about formative relationships; the way they start, end, and influence us well into our adulthood.
