Caleb has been playing piano since he was five years old. Although predominantly in the jazz and contemporary world these days, he started playing classical music and has extensive experience in both disciplines. He has been involved in many musical theatre productions, which included being musical director for Canberra Philharmonic Society’s productions of Beauty and the Beast (2019) and Jersey Boys (2021). He was the musical director for Dramatic Production’s production of Dogfight (2022). He regularly plays private and public jazz gigs around Canberra and in 2021 he was the recipient of the Terry Miles Prize in Jazz, the Winifred Burston Memorial Prize and the Erika Haas Prize.
